What You’ll Be Doing

As the Senior Manager for Accounting and Finance technology you will ensure the security and integrity of data within Deltek systems, utilizing best-practices for data protection and access control. You will manage licenses and agreements, working closely with Contracts to support business needs. Your role will involve troubleshooting and problem-solving within Deltek systems, including Costpoint, Time and Expense, Planning, and Business Intelligence. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to generate data analysis and reports, maintaining the security of data. You will have project management responsibilities for internal projects, integrations, and management of our ERP Consultant (e.g. Deltek Partner). Responsibilities

  • System Implementation and Maintenance: Oversee the Deltek Costpoint system for the multi-company, multi-currency enterprise. Work with stakeholders for the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of Deltek Costpoint systems to ensure optimal performance and alignment with business needs. Maintenance includes reviews of the Costpoint Release Notes and coordinates internally to ensure stakeholder knowledge of upcoming changes.

  • System Administration: In-depth knowledge and maintenance of the System Administration module.

  • Troubleshooting and Problem-solving: Using Release Notes, manage system upgrades and enhancements, including testing and deployment, to ensure seamless integration and minimal disruption and ensure they do not have an ill effect on our customizations prior to them being released to Production.

  • System Upgrades and Enhancements: Using Release Notes, manage system upgrades and enhancements, including management of testing and deployment, to ensure seamless integration and minimal disruption and ensure they do not have an ill effect on our customizations prior to them being released to Production.

  • Development and Testing: Create and maintain customized reports including use of Costpoint Business Intelligence, SQL, and Access databases. Collaboration with stakeholders of reports and the company’s enterprise data warehouse.

  • User Support and Training: Provide technical support and training to end-users, ensuring they can effectively utilize Deltek systems.

  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Conduct data analysis to support decision-making processes and improve operational efficiency.

  • Documentation and Compliance: Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards.

  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, project management, and IT, to understand and address system requirements and challenges.

  • Project Management: Lead or participate in projects related to system improvements and integrations, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project goals and budgets.

  • Security and Data Integrity: Ensure the security and integrity of data within Deltek systems, implementing best practices for data protection and access control.

  • Manage Licenses and Agreements: Work with Contracts on licensing and system agreements. Assign licenses as needed to support business needs.

  • Working knowledge of Deltek systems, including Costpoint, Time and Expense, Deltek Planning, and Business Intelligence. Resolve system issues reported by Accounting and others in a timely manner to maintain system reliability and user satisfaction. Follow established escalation procedures, work with the vendor (Deltek) and Consultant (e.g. Infotek), and track issues to resolution. Inform stakeholders of status and resolution.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with Deltek Costpoint and Deltek’s Cloud environment, including system implementation and maintenance.

  • In-depth experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), particularly in cloud environments for Development, Configuration, Test, and Production.

  • Proven experience in troubleshooting and problem-solving within Deltek systems, along with strong project management skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, and the demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  • Extensive experience in data analysis and report generation, ensuring security and integrity of data within Deltek systems.

  • Proficient in SQL, MS Access databases, JAVA.

  • Working knowledge of Deltek Planner or equivalent project planning system.

  • Certification in Deltek systems or related fields is a plus.

Additional Information:

Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as a U.S Perm Resident or U.S. Citizen.

The minimum starting salary for this position is $160,000. The actual salary may be higher and will be determined by several factors, including relevant work experience, education, skills, and market competitiveness.
