Sr. Platform Administrator - Google Workspace
Role Overview:
As a Senior Platform Administrator - Google Workspace, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining the next generation of Google Workspace features. You will be responsible for the entire software development lifecycle, from design and development to testing and deployment. You will collaborate with a talented team of engineers, designers, and product managers to bring cutting-edge solutions to billions of users worldwide.
About the Role:
Oversee Google Workspace management, including Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Groups, Shared Mailboxes, Google Sites, and associated policy and account management
Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain complex software features for Google Workspace applications.
Deeply understand Google Workspace products and their underlying architecture.
Stay up-to-date on the latest cloud technologies and best practices.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Identify and solve complex technical challenges.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
Mentor junior engineers and share your knowledge.
Troubleshoot and provide issue resolution for end user issues coming through our services portal
Escalate issues to vendor and third-party entities
Support ongoing data migrations from Microsoft to GWS
Assist with development of support documentation for end user audience
About You:
Experience with Google Workspace applications.
1+ year administrating Google Workspace
Experience with Okta as an identity provider.
Professional Google Workspace Administrator Certification (great nice to have!)
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience with designing, developing, and deploying large-scale software systems.
Expertise in one or more of the following areas: web and/or backend development, distributed systems, database technologies.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
5+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on cloud-based applications.
Passion for innovation and a desire to make a positive impact on the world.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Base Pay Range: $90,00 - $130,000. Actual base pay within this range will depend on varying circumstances, including the work location, individual qualifications, company budget and other operational business needs. Compensation may also include annual bonuses and long-term incentives, subject to various metrics and company policy.
