JOB SUMMARY
Supports incident command related to major information security incidents and annual tabletop exercises for executive leadership and the continents. Collaborates across the Global Technology organization and with key business stakeholder to deliver results.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Required:
7+ years progressive project management experience with:
minimum of 2+ recent years in a technology project management role.
Experience in managing large, complex projects
Several years’ experience with an expertise in O365 products, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to work occasionally outside of normal business hours to support global efforts
Undergraduate degree, equivalent experience, or certification
Preferred:
Cybersecurity experience
Graduate degree
Project Management Certification
Demonstrated proficiency in project management methodology and program management
Demonstrated ability to provide and clearly communicate status, actions, risks and put forth solutions
Demonstrated record of managing internal and external projects from inception to successful implementation
Demonstrated ability to work comfortably in a fast paced, often ambiguous and event driven environment
Solid understanding of current technologies with the ability to develop and deliver projects using leading edge technologies.
Ability to align change management strategies with project
Skilled in conceptualizing creative solutions, documenting them, and presenting/selling them to senior management
Highly developed oral and written communication skills
Extremely high level of analytical ability to resolve complex and difficult issues
Very high level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others, motivate employees, and elicit work output in a team environment
Experience managing tasks within Jira
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
This role is focused on two primary areas—annual tabletop exercises and supporting major information security events.
Supporting Tabletops Exercises
Leads the coordination of annual tabletop exercises for executive leadership and continent teams.
Coordinates with GIS regional teams to support the consistent global development of tabletop exercises. This includes attendance at afterhours meetings due to time zone differences.
Serves as a liaison with cross functional teams to document subject matter expertise required for the development of the tabletop exercises.
Manages vendor that provides tabletop exercise services, including coordinating the contracting process with the Marriott Vendor Relations team, managing the vendor’s project planning process, reviewing vendor deliverables, and serving as a liaison for the vendor with Marriott teams.
Coordinates the logistics of the tabletop exercises, including scheduling meetings, planning training event logistics (e.g., meeting room reservations, food and beverage, technical resources, room arrangement, preliminary tabletop exercise dry runs).
Lead coordinator of Marriott deliverables supporting tabletop exercises, including introductory talking points.
Responsible for creation and presentation of Marriott deliverables, including pre-planning presentations.
Participates in the facilitation of tabletop exercises as required.
Manages the tracking and status of after-action recommendations from tabletop exercises.
Follows PMO processes and procedures where applicable.
Creates, gathers, distributes, manages collateral for tabletop exercises as needed.
Supporting Major Information Security Incidents
Leads incident command efforts during large information security incidents, including facilitating across multiple teams. This includes attendance at afterhours meetings due to time zone differences.
Coordinates, documents, and tracks updates across multiple cross functional groups during a major information security incident.
Manages the tracking of remediation efforts from large information security incidents.

California Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $93,713.00 to $204,107.00 annually.
Colorado Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $93,713.00 to $185,551.00 annually.
New York City & Westchester County, NY Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $113,393.00 to $204,107.00 annually.
Washington Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $93,713.00 to $204,107.00 annually. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible to receive an annual bonus. Employees will accrue 0.04616 PTO balance for every hour worked and eligible to receive minimum of 7 holidays annually.
