The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Developer to join our team. This role will be responsible for creating automated solutions to improve operational efficiencies within our Mass Markets organization. We are looking for a full stack developer who is passionate about working with large scale systems using cutting-edge technologies and tools to automate workflows and processes. This role will support our operations team in the completion of problem analysis, solution design and development, solution implementation planning and execution, training, logistical and infrastructural assistance, standardization, and measurement.
- As a developer of production applications, our team is committed to ensuring the highest level of service and reliability for our users. To achieve this, we may occasionally require after-hours support to address critical production issues as they arise.
The Main Responsibilities
• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable and reliable automations and front-end applications using technologies such as JavaScript, PHP, HTML5, CSS3, React, REST, PowerShell, etc.
• Will interface closely with the business and technical staff on the team during all phases of the project, including unit and system testing, integration and UAT testing culminating with implementation checkout and post implementation support
• Perform data quality checks and validations, and handle data anomalies and issues
• Ability to analyze, troubleshoot and resolve complex software application related problems
• Extract, transform, and load data from various sources and formats, such as relational databases, APIs, JSON, XML, CSV, etc.
• Manage job and project requirements so that projects are completed on time, in scope, within budget, with minimal defects.
• Accountable for all aspects of testing (e.g. testing plan, scenarios, documentation, defect management) to ensure minimal production and UAT defects are realized
• Translate business requirements to software specification and requirements.
• Provide industry knowledge, experience, and best practices to help the team stay ahead of the curve in keeping our technology stack cutting edge
What We Look For in a Candidate
Required Qualifications
• Experience in developing and working with software technologies, such as JavaScript, PHP, HTML, CSS, SQL, GitHub, Git Bash, Oracle SQL Developer, Visual Studio Code, etc.
• Experience utilizing JIRA for feature creation, dashboard management, etc...
• Experience solving business problems that involve systems and process changes
• Experience sourcing, analyzing and using data to solve problems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
• Eager to learn new skills and technologies, and willing to take on challenges
• Experience working in an Agile development environment
Preferred Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on JavaScript, PHP, Python, HTML, CSS, and PowerShell
• Strong conceptual thinker with ability to generate new ideas.
• Ability to act independently, take initiative, and drive tasks and issues to resolution.
• Prior experience in a leadership or mentorship role.
Compensation
The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though c depends on each individual's qualifications.

$93.210 - $124,280 in these states: AK CA CT DC DE IL MA MD NJ NY TX VA WA
As with the pay range variety that's based on the region of a country, specific offers are determined by various factors such as experience, education, s certifications and other business needs.
