About the Role
As a Strategic Sourcing Manager, where you'll source, negotiate, contract, and manage service providers for outsourced services supporting the Project Management Team. You'll collaborate with clients, internal stakeholders, and the department to develop and execute sourcing and procurement strategies, maintaining high-level engagement with all parties throughout your work.
What You’ll Do
As a Strategic Sourcing Manager, you will support the Project Management Team with development and execution of work related to design and construction projects.
Coordinate and lead daily activities. Work with business stakeholders, operational shared services team members, and sponsors to develop, coordinate, and implement strategy at account level.
Build and manage RFPs, selecting solutions, and negotiating. Prepare and maintain contracts with national and regional service providers. Ensure contracts adhere to company and Client standards.
Draft, review, negotiate, and other business documents in support of the purchase of goods and services at a mid to senior level.
Review the process of contract terminations, expirations, extensions, and renewals. Inform peers and management staff of changes or results.
Handle supplier and contractor certification process. This includes legal and organizational structure, financial viability, geographic coverage, and insurance requirements.
Perform vendor management activities to measure performance to ensure efficient value is achieved.
Support national sourcing processes and practices with internal team members. Coordinate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, and customers.
Establish requirements and ensure the integrity of centralized procurement database systems.
Serve as a point of contact for management and liaise with outside procurement solutions.
Provide clients with innovative technologies, products, and services to generate value and stay ahead of the competition.
What You’ll Need
Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.
Ability to guide the exchange of difficult information, convey performance expectations and balance problems.
Leadership skills to empower team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job field and department.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mentality.
Advanced math skills. Ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Procurement Manager position is $90,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Procurement Manager position is $110,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
