$66,500-$75,000 base pay (DOE) with generous wage growth

YOUR ROLE
As an entry-level Structural Bridge Engineer, you will be fully engaged in project work, making a difference in the communities you serve. The Engineer will be responsible for structural analysis, design, and project engineering for transportation-related structural projects within the public agency and private market. These responsibilities include:
Serving in a lead or support technical role, depending on project complexity.
Preparation of calculations, plans, specifications, cost estimates, technical reports, and, at times, task or project management.
Day-to-day design decisions on bridge replacement and rehabilitation projects, including production and scheduling.
Working in a team environment, both internally and externally.
Active involvement in client interaction at the project level.
Leverage design software such as AutoCAD or MicroStation
Write and complete technical reports and project correspondences.
YOUR STRENGTHS
Master’s degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering with an emphasis in structural
Current Engineer-In-Training (EIT) licensure or willing to obtain soon after hire
0-3+ years of relevant experience in bridge design work
Understanding of design software such as AutoCAD or MicroStation
Principal knowledge of load calculations, structural analysis, and design
Effective communicator, both written and verbal
