Meta Sustainability Analyst in Helena, Montana

Summary:

Meta is hiring a Sustainability Analyst to join the Sustainability Team. Our team enables Meta to operate and grow sustainably and responsibly. We envision a world at the end of the decade where Meta has met our science-based emissions reduction target, achieved net zero emissions across our value chain, restored more water than our operations consume and consistently upheld the human rights, safety and well-being of workers in our manufacturing supply chain. This position will focus on providing supplier risk management and assurance analyst support for Responsible Supply Chain (RSC), Labor as well as handle coordination, logistics, and communications across Sustainability-related program pillars.

Required Skills:

Sustainability Analyst Responsibilities:

  1. Provide supplier risk management and assurance support, review, and analysis in support of the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) Code of Conduct compliance including RBA self-assessment questionnaires, RBA validated assessment program, and corrective action plans

  2. Provide supplier risk management support, review, and analysis in support of Electronics Reuse and Recycling Standard and assurance program for third-parties who provide recycling, reuse or takeback of electronic equipment and electronic waste services

  3. Maintain collaborative, proactive relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders

  4. Engage with sourcing (procurement), legal, business units and other cross-functional teams to align objectives and manage key metrics

  5. Provide day-to-day coordination for RSC activities or projects and effectively communicate status and priorities to team members and cross-functional partners

  6. Contribute to supplier assurance program direction and its implementation

  7. Contribute to internal and external reporting and communications such as organize events and outreach, managing the communications with and between cross-functional teams, maintaining and updating events calendar, and spearheading logistical planning

  8. Supporting internal and external marketing material develop including handbooks, graphics, talking points, briefing documents, and captions

  9. Manage internal and external events including administrative/logistics on broadcasting events, posting about the events, and soliciting feedback and questions during the live events

  10. Manage contracting, scope of work development, budgeting, and forecasting in support of advancing program goals including regular touchpoints with third-party suppliers on requests and troubleshooting

  11. Support the quarterly accruals/forecast, annual budget requests, budget accrual notes, and other analyst needs for the Sustainability team

  12. Willingness to travel (5%)

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Undergraduate degree in environmental science, social sciences, and/or sustainability focused degree

  2. 4+ years experience in fields related to sustainability

  3. Familiarity with supply chain responsibility, reporting and positioning, water, and additional sustainability related topics

  4. Demonstrated experience in project management, with experience self-managing complex program delivery in a matrixed environment

  5. Experience developing content and presenting sustainability data and insights to technical and non-technical audiences

  6. A self starter, with experience diplomatically resolving issues through understanding conflicting inputs, achieving alignment, and proposing go-forward solutions

  7. Experience working with interdisciplinary teams (e.g. Sustainability, Procurement Teams, Business teams) and managing relationships with complex stakeholders

  8. Demonstrated flexibility and willingness to learn and work on projects

  9. Understanding of Meta’s products and services

Public Compensation:

$98,000/year to $148,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
