Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Systems Analyst to join our IT team. This position will be full-time, remote, and is a contract position.

This position requires a strong technical background in Microsoft server environments, SQL Server, and scripting, along with a keen understanding of application support best practices.

What You'll Do

  • Provide day-to-day application support for the Justice Case Management Application, troubleshooting issues and resolving user inquiries

  • Maintain and optimize Microsoft Server and IIS environments to ensure optimal application performance and availability

  • Administer and support Windows Server 2019+ environments, including patching, updates, and security configurations

  • Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation of tasks, system monitoring, and application deployment

  • Design, develop, and support SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) reports to meet user and business requirements

  • Write complex SQL queries and stored procedures to update, insert, and retrieve data from SQL Server databases

  • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to implement application upgrades, patches, and enhancements

  • Participate in project planning and execution related to the Justice Case Management Application

  • Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps

What You'll Need

Required

  • Microsoft Server and IIS Support Windows 2019+ Server Support PowerShell

  • Scripting Develop and Support SSRS Reports

  • Able to write complex queries and stored procedures to update and insert into SQL tables

  • Develop and support integrations in SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) with Visual Studio

  • Writes queries that produce XML data; write queries that select values and attributes from XML data

  • Experience with database performance tuning and optimization

  • Familiarity with ITIL framework and incident management processes

  • Experience with cloud-based infrastructure (e.g., Azure, AWS)

  • Knowledge of security best practices for Windows Server and SQL Server

  • Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git)

  • Experience with application monitoring tools

  • Experience with troubleshooting complex application issues

Physical Demands

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards

  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc

  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
