Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Systems Analyst to join our IT team. This position will be full-time, remote, and is a contract position.
This position requires a strong technical background in Microsoft server environments, SQL Server, and scripting, along with a keen understanding of application support best practices.
What You'll Do
Provide day-to-day application support for the Justice Case Management Application, troubleshooting issues and resolving user inquiries
Maintain and optimize Microsoft Server and IIS environments to ensure optimal application performance and availability
Administer and support Windows Server 2019+ environments, including patching, updates, and security configurations
Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation of tasks, system monitoring, and application deployment
Design, develop, and support SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) reports to meet user and business requirements
Write complex SQL queries and stored procedures to update, insert, and retrieve data from SQL Server databases
Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to implement application upgrades, patches, and enhancements
Participate in project planning and execution related to the Justice Case Management Application
Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps
What You'll Need
Required
Microsoft Server and IIS Support Windows 2019+ Server Support PowerShell
Scripting Develop and Support SSRS Reports
Able to write complex queries and stored procedures to update and insert into SQL tables
Develop and support integrations in SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) with Visual Studio
Writes queries that produce XML data; write queries that select values and attributes from XML data
Experience with database performance tuning and optimization
Familiarity with ITIL framework and incident management processes
Experience with cloud-based infrastructure (e.g., Azure, AWS)
Knowledge of security best practices for Windows Server and SQL Server
Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git)
Experience with application monitoring tools
Experience with troubleshooting complex application issues
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
