Summary

The Global Distribution Strategy and Operations (GDSO) Systems & Tools Team is looking for a skilled project manager to support our team’s evolving requirements and tools. The resource for this position will collaborate with GDSO personnel, Salesforce CSG resources, BT, and other functions across the company. The ideal candidate should have experience coordinating, configuring, and customizing Salesforce, be comfortable supporting out-of-the-box and custom tools, and be confident working on large, technical, complex projects.

Candidates should have experience working closely with Sales, Services Delivery, and technology teams to drive projects forward in support of process design innovation and system automation / improvement initiatives. They will work with business partners and stakeholders to understand current processes and supporting tools, understand strategy, design future state processes, draft and validate use cases, generate business and technical requirements, specify system improvements, configure / prototype enhancements, participate in system testing, and support associated change management and user enablement planning and execution.

Responsibilities

  • Perform administration duties on a suite of existing applications and tools, including project management, data management, scheduling, methodology, and reporting.

  • Lead project scope and schedule definition and execution.

  • Able to effectively communicate status, accomplishments, and roadblocks to a dynamic global team.

  • Analyze Salesforce data and generate reports.

  • Assist in the creation of custom tools and applications.

  • Advocate for Services Sales and Delivery requirements on enterprise wide projects, features & improvements.

  • Own the creation, documentation, validation, communication and upkeep of business requirements and their supporting use cases.

  • Set priorities, open cases with developers and guide them through deployment.

  • Partner with Subject Matter Experts, Business Architects, and Product Owners to develop requirements, review solutions and designs, and build enablement and test scripts.

  • General support on additional administrative or operational tasks.

Required Experience / Expertise / Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Relevant practical experience in systems administration or business analysis

  • Advanced understanding of cloud computing, solutions, and the Salesforce product family

  • Strong professional communication (written and verbal), organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail

  • Logical, practical, realistic, tenacious, curious, kind

  • Ability to multitask while managing deadlines, perform well under pressure, work independently and as a part of a team

  • Flexible, creative, highly motivated self-starter with demonstrated ability to produce results

  • Outstanding time management skills

  • Detail and quality-oriented with the desire to quickly learn new concepts, business models, and technologies

  • Collaborative; very customer-service and team-oriented

  • Ability to stay focused and learn quickly in a fast-paced, rapidly developing business environment

Desired Experience / Expertise / Skills

  • Salesforce certifications and product experience

  • Familiarity with CRM, data management and/or FinancialForce’s PSA tool

  • Experience as a customer-facing consultant

  • Experience in Sales Operations or Professional Services

  • PMI PMP certification

  • Experience with Contract Lifecycle Management, CPQ and/or systems integration

  • Proficient in authoring use cases, user stories, business and/or technical requirements

  • Experienced at collaborating with both business and technical teams; requirements gathering, prototyping, testing, launching and enabling enterprise solutions
