DESCRIPTION / OPPORTUNITY

The real estate market is undergoing a significant and exciting transformation – driven by data and technology. Thus, the digital strategy manager plays a vital role in CBRE’s mission. This person will combine business acumen with analytical techniques to understand the commercial real estate ecosystem and how CBRE serves its client base. Furthermore, this person will assess the competitive landscape (both at CBRE and externally) and identify opportunities for creating new value and for better serving our client base. The ideal candidate must be willing to lead critical projects whilst managing a diverse group of stakeholders and multiple priorities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define approaches and lead key internal strategy projects

  • Distill implications to CBRE from major technology, demographic and macroeconomic trends

  • Articulate strategic opportunities in better serving clients

  • Analyze data around real estate markets and the operations of real estate assets across multiple data sources; provide leadership with powerful facts and analyses that outline solutions and drive change

  • Develop plans and programs for change implementation in the organization

  • Drive process re-engineering efforts alongside representatives from other business functions

  • Drive select special projects end-to-end – from outlining the type of solution through implementation, interpretation of results and internal capability handoffs

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics, statistics, or engineering;

  • A minimum of 4 years of professional experience involving data-driven strategy, managing complex assignments, and working within cross-functional teams; strategy consulting experience with premier consulting firm is highly preferred

  • Passion for understanding business problems and trying to address them by leveraging data

  • Interested in technology and the implications it creates in the market

  • A solid team player and an independent thinker that is both curious and analytical

  • Demonstrated career advancement and increasing levels of managerial responsibility

  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills

  • Mastery of commonly used business productivity software (e.g., Tableau, PowerPoint, Excel, Office, etc.)

  • Experience with SQL server, MS Access and similar preferred

Colorado Residents: CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the position is $135,000 annually and the maximum salary for the position is $185,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
