As a Technical Product Analyst in the Intermodal team, you will operate in lock-step with product managers to ensure that strategic product direction is followed by conveying that strategy to the product development teams. You will communicate clear and descriptive requirements and partner with the development scrum and systems teams to deliver product features and capabilities that balance the desire for new features with defects and technical debt.
Your priority is to ensure that the product meets the stakeholder requirements, retains functional and technical integrity and is appropriately scalable. In the immediate future this specific position will work within the Network Optimization Smart Intermodal Management System (SIMS) product space.In this role, you will:
Work with cross-functional (design, build, test, delivery, project management) teams to enable successful delivery of features and products
Provide input to the short-term product roadmap and product design
Participate in customer and stakeholder interviews to align product design with roles (personas)
Assist product managers to groom the product backlog; ensuring that an agreed amount of scope is always ready to move forward and identifying if this is not the case
Engage frequently with or be an integral member of the product development teams; facilitate discussions, provide clarification, drive feature refinement, conduct testing and validation prior to acceptance of features
Understand and follow the proscribed governance process and development methodology for product development
Translate customer requests into actionable user stories and work units through problem decomposition and planning
Show increasing understanding of the technology stack and its impact on the final product Qualifications/Requirements: Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university
A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in intermodal terminal operations, ability to describe and document operational requirements for terminal operating system, ability to provide detailed system test feedbackEligibility Requirements: (Country Specific)

Must be willing to travel up to 40%
Must be willing to work out of an office located in Chicago or Atlanta. If working out of Atlanta, must be able to travel to Chicago office frequently in addition to the up to 40% travel requirement listed above Desired Characteristics: Technical Expertise:
Ability to aligns goals, feature sets, capabilities to business objectives for the product (i.e. Profitability, ROI, Market Penetration, Channel development, Brand Development, etc.)
Competent Business Analysis skills and ability to translate requirements to enterprise software features
Experience working in a formal software development lifecycle environment following a formal project management and governance process and familiarity with Agile development practices
Proficiency in tools supporting SDLC such as Rally, Aha!, LoadRunner, etc.
Knowledge of relevant areas such as APIs, data transfer, scalability, security, Cloud Technologies, and complex Platform Integrated Systems
MBA degree or equivalentBusiness Acumen:
