Facebook Technical Program Manager in Helena, Montana
Facebook's mission is to give people the power to build community and bring the world closer together. Through our family of apps and services, we're building a different kind of company that connects billions of people around the world, gives them ways to share what matters most to them, and helps bring people closer together. Whether we're creating new products or helping a small business expand its reach, people at Facebook are builders at heart. Our global teams are constantly iterating, solving problems, and working together to empower people around the world to build community and connect in meaningful ways. Together, we can help people build stronger communities - we're just getting started.
As part of our mission, we aim to prevent people from having negative experiences on Facebook due to product or platform abuse, while protecting freedom of expression. We build large scale, complex systems and operate an infrastructure to enable detection and remediation of content and behaviors that violate our Community Standards. We do this on a global scale across the full suite of Facebook products. As a Technical Program Manager, you will play a key role within engineering, driving projects that span the organization. You will work across all teams working on abuse detection to enable meaningful, accurate and reliable metrics that will inform our product strategy and help us be transparent to our users. You will closely partner with the platform engineering teams to build data sets and data governance processes to provide end-to-end tracking of the overall integrity work across the organization. Are you passionate about helping those around you be more effective? Do you think about technology and data as a way to increase efficiency and change how a business operates? We are looking for candidates that share our passion for tackling complexity head-on, to help build platforms that can scale through multiple orders of magnitude.
