Technical Project Manager

Overview of Position

This role provides project management support for Change Healthcare's Pharmacy Network business unit. As a project manager on our team you will support multiple agile development teams and cross-functional projects focused on delivering best-in-class custom software solutions to the US retail pharmacy industry.

Work Location:

Fully Remote - U.S.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Project manage large, complex, and multi-functional software and infrastructure projects

  • Coach and support scrum masters and team members in use of agile software development best practices

  • Communicate project status to all stakeholders. Report on jeopardies, concerns and items for discussion during weekly project status update meeting

  • Plan and facilitate certain R&D agile meetings, including sprint planning, kickoff, demo and retrospective

  • Partner with the General Manager and Product Owners to understand and support GM/PO objectives

  • Capture performance data and produce/analyze sprint metrics

  • Identify process improvement opportunities

  • Facilitate software release process by ensuring all key process steps are executed

    Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college/university or 4+ years of relevant work experience in lieu

  • 6+ years of project management experience

  • 2+ years of agile project management and/or scrum master experience

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP Certification

  • Agile certifications such as SAFe Agilist, Scrum Master

  • Experience and proficiency using project management software (e.g. Rally/JIRA)

  • Experience project managing / leading custom software development efforts

  • Understanding of infrastructure, network, and technology terminology and concepts

  • Experience motivating and leading multi-functional teams in the delivery of complex solutions

  • Experience working with both onshore and offshore agile software development teams
