Siemens Grid Control provides solutions for customers in different sectors such as transmission and distribution, municipalities or multi-utilities and the industry, energy generation, portfolio optimization, rail electrification, and market management.
It's your role, here's the part you can play:
Responsible for communicating with customers by making technical presentations and demonstrations, preparing technical proposals, and applying Siemens Grid Control’s software portfolio to solutions. Develops and drives innovative customer-need based solutions across the Americas, facilitating growth of the Siemens Grid Control software business.
Drive technical discussions between EMS (Energy Management System), ADMS (Advanced Distribution Management System), DERMS (Distributed Energy Resource Management), MGMS (Microgrid Management System) and MMS (Market Management System).
Support the Sales team by delivering software demonstrations as necessary, both remotely and at customer sites.
Communicate Grid Control software features and functionalities to support the sale of new software products/services/solutions.
Articulate the value of Grid Control portfolio and its impact to the customer business outcome.
Prepare technical offers along the proposal management team.
Work directly with customers to increase product satisfaction.
Manage a variety of technical marketing activities for the Siemens Grid Control Business.
Provide technical sales support to the Sales team.
Participate in US market software user group meetings.
Occasionally work with Grid Control Global Software team in support of demonstrations, solutions, and proposals for the business worldwide.
Continually looks for opportunities to improve products, processes, and customer experience.
Proactively seeks most up to date technology and industry trends.
Be part of our team, here's what's needed:
Ability to communicate highly technical information clearly and concisely to peers and customers verbally, in written communications and learning and training situations.
Minimum of 5 years in technical and/or electrical engineering within transmission and/or distribution operation.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
Strong people skills and engaging presentation and written communications skills.
Extremely partner-focused, proactive and effective within a team environment.
Understanding of power system software.
Strong business and industry specific acumen.
