Facebook is looking for a Technology Architect to join our Technology Enablement team. STAR is a global team, which supports and enables the success of functional partners in Scaled Operations (SO) and Global Operations (GO) by offering close stakeholder collaboration, thought partnership, effective communication, and program excellence. This experienced and entrepreneurial Technology Architect will help build out best-in-class project capabilities for SO. The Technology Architect will be responsible for leading the execution and activation of numerous product initiatives and will work with various stakeholders from GO, Engineering, Process, Vendor and more.

Required Skills:

  1. Deeply understand the architecture and integration points of Facebook's community support processes, products and policies. Drive system design discussions in the ecosystem

  2. Work with business and operational teams to define end to end system requirements and architecture

  3. Drive build vs buy decisions, and integrations with third party software

  4. Define the project scope, translate them into implementable requirements, drive implementation with Engineering and launch of the technology solution

  5. Track and analyze key operational metrics to drive optimization efforts

  6. Use problem solving to resolve large and complex business problems

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 8+ years of experience in technology architecture, system design, system integration projects/programs

  2. 8+ years of experience in technology program management focused on software

  3. Knowledge of software development processes and best practices. Knowledge with project and issue tracking systems

  4. Experience working on development infrastructure and tools

  5. Knowledge of software development processes and best practices

  6. Strategic thinker with great analytical and problem-solving skills

  7. Experienced influencer and communicator

  8. Experience in launching technical programs from inception to delivery

  9. Track record of operating autonomously across multiple teams

  10. Experience in fostering cross-functional working relationships in an organization. Includes working with and communicating with multiple partner teams and cross-functional partners [with and without technology experience]

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience working on system integration, design, architecture programs

  2. Experience in Cloud architecture (e.g. AWS)

  3. Experience building solutions on the Cloud, integrating solutions and systems to build a complete solution

  4. Experience working in a technology company or consulting firms

  5. Experience working in a technology company or technology strategy consulting firms
