The College Board Traffic/QA Coordinator, College Lists/Career Planning in Helena, Montana

About the Team

The Communications and Marketing team is responsible for building and protecting the College Board reputation, overseeing organization's communications efforts, and growing the organization's three highest priority areas: AP, SAT Suite, and BigFuture, which are designed to increase educational access and opportunity for all students. We are a close knit, dedicated team with a track record of success in promoting the work of the College Board to a variety of audiences, including students, parents, educators, policymakers, the media, member organizations and staff.

About the Opportunity

As our Traffic Coordinator, you'll play a pivotal role on the Marketing Operations team with a key focus on our BigFuture college search and planning platform. You will be responsible for ensuring all marketing and communication-related content and creative requests move seamlessly through our process from ideation to execution and help to ensure on-time delivery and adherence to all stated and organizational requirements from stakeholder teams. You will manage assignments, workflow, and priorities using defined marketing processes to improve efficiencies and accountability measured by KPIs. You will make an impact on College Board's growth and the students and families that are engaging in the college search and planning process by ensuring campaign requirements, and deadlines are met to present the most impactful content at the right time.

In this role, you will:

Marketing Operations & Traffic Management (85%)

Gather information necessary to enable the creative and development teams to successfully deliver projects that align to expectations of all applicable stakeholders
Meet daily with the creative team members to set priorities and align project plans
Serve as a key point of contact for content and marketing projects to ensure key milestones are accomplished and deadlines are met
Create, maintain, and consistently update status and priorities of all applicable marketing project work across teams and business areas and communicate and share this information out to relevant stakeholders and contributors
Facilitate communication and collaboration across teams including Marketing, Creative, Channel, and Product

Process and Workflow Optimization (15%)

Identify process and workflow bottlenecks that will improve agility and efficiencies
Proactively identify issues and work to efficiently resolve or escalate to appropriate management
Develop and enhance existing workflow processes

About You

You have:

1-3 years of experience working in marketing project or traffic management
Experience with workflow/project management tools like JIRA, Workfront, Wrike, MS Project, etc.
A service-orientated mindset with a positive attitude always, while working under continual deadline constraints and overseeing work completion by others outside of your own team
Demonstrated ability to multi-task, set priorities, and be resourceful in a growing environment
Strong organizational competency with excellent follow-up and follow-through skills
Agility to respond quickly to shifting demands and opportunities
Proven team facilitation and interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively across a variety of levels and functions
Excellent communication skills to articulate a message to a variety of audiences both verbally and in writing
Demonstrate a high-level understanding of all phases of the design, creative and production processes to facilitate communication between marketing and product teams.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent; Any project management certifications are a plus

Willingness to travel 2-3 times per year or < 10% for in-person meetings/gatherings
