Randstad US VMS Intelligence Lead Analyst in Helena, Montana

The primary objective of the VMS Intelligence Lead Analyst is the structuring, transformation and visualization of data involving VMS systems to assist stakeholders in assessing client performance as well as identifying opportunities to optimize and standardize business processes. This individual is responsible for leveraging business knowledge, an understanding of the framework of the underlying data, and VMS systems expertise to ensure that stakeholders have actionable business intelligence and the operational support required to improve Randstad’s performance within VMS client programs. This individual will serve as a subject matter expert, consultative business partner and project manager for various initiatives throughout the organization, working closely with stakeholders, data engineers, data scientists, finance and operational teams.

Position Summary

  • Drives VMS and business process efficiency using lean/six sigma methodologies, BI technology to analyze customer and delivery team performance. Reviews current state, identifies waste, process inefficiencies and provides best practices. Consults with business partners and stakeholders to streamline future state processes, designs, QA/UAT tests, implements, documents, trains and assists with change management.

  • Gathers requirements from business partners and stakeholders to create graphs, infographics, and dashboards. Utilizes knowledge of data collection, data structuring, data transformation and data analysis to visualize data using Google Data Studio, Tableau, etc. Maintains and deploys enhancements for existing VMS Intelligence dashboards improving data quality and user experience.

  • Designs data infrastructure for optimal extraction, transformation, scalability, and data delivery from/to various data sources using GCP and SQL. Ability to automate data collection and minimize manual data processing.

  • Builds analytical tools utilizing the data pipeline providing actionable insights into key business performance metrics including operational efficiency and customer performance.

  • Serves as project manager by gathering business requirements, managing work streams and timelines, writes technical documentation and use cases. Coordinates QA/UAT testing, implementation, training, and change management communication.

  • Maintains VMS reporting data architecture. Determining and updating system setup, data mapping, and account mapping. Conducts regular audits, working with account owners, implementation teams and business partners across the enterprise to ensure data accuracy.

  • Provides training, operational and ad hoc support to internal business partners, including but not limited to data related technical issues, VMS configuration, reporting and dashboards needs.

  • Trains and mentors VMS Intelligence team members on reporting framework, data structuring, data transformation and data visualization

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in the field

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required

  • 3-5 years in business intelligence, data analytics or working with VMS tools (preferred)

  • 3-5 years staffing industry experience or MSP experience (optional)

  • Vendor Management System (VMS) experience with Fieldglass, Beeline, IQNvigator, Wand, etc.

  • Experience with Applicant Tracking tools like PeopleSoft or Bullhorn

  • Understanding of the end-to-end staffing business

  • Fluent in SQL language for SQL Developer and Big Query

  • Intermediate knowledge of Google Cloud Platform, project space, and IAM

  • Intermediate knowledge of Google Data Studio, Tableau, etc.

  • ETL/ELT understanding including data pipeline creation

  • Advanced Google Sheets or MS Excel skills

  • Google Apps Script - plus

  • Aptitude for analytical thinking with attention to detail, problem solving, information seeking and conceptual thinking skills.

  • Lean/Six Sigma yellow belt with proven ability to implement business process optimization

  • Pre-dispositioned to assess facts, identify area of opportunity, recommend initiatives, or alternative solutions to different functional groups

  • Must be innovative in approach, willing to take risks and operate successfully in ambiguous situations

  • Experience with defining reporting needs, preparing analysis and insights for business leaders

  • Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to read communication styles, influence others, including executives and senior leadership

  • Project Management experience including managing deadlines, project documentation, training and cross functional communication. Ideal candidate has led multiple projects through the entire project lifecycle.

  • Experience using Smartsheet

  • Understanding of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and digital work

  • Demonstrated organizational skills

  • Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
