Overview of Job Function:
The Vice President, Channel Sales, will generate new business by expanding the company’s channel partner network. The VP will be a hands-on leader responsible for executing all aspects of the business relationship with each partner, including recruiting, qualifying, onboarding, training, pipeline reporting, and win/loss reporting. The VP will lead a high-performing team of Channel Sales and Partner Development Managers to lead and exceed annual sales growth goals across the Americas.
Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:
Provide leadership, strategy, and operational excellence aligned with Verint’s channel and partner sales strategy.
Develop and recommend strategic sales analysis of the competitive landscape and addressable markets, including the identification and development of new and unidentified channel opportunities.
Identify, develop, manage, and maintain relationships with strategic channel partners.
Forecast annual, quarterly, and monthly sales revenue streams accurately. Provide feedback on program structure and SPIF models to drive maximum effectiveness and continuous program improvement.
Perform quarterly business reviews with strategic partners to ensure partner growth and performance targets are met.
Develop a technical enablement strategy that supports the North America channel sales strategy.
Establish strong relationships with partners' executive leadership teams.
Hire, retain, and develop a team of high-performing channel partner managers and channel sales leaders.
Maintain open communications and collaborate with cross-functional partners, including Channel Marketing, Sales Enablement, and Go-To-Market, to ensure timely and appropriate partner growth alignment.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
Minimum of 15+ years of sales leadership experience managing high-performing sales teams.
Experience in managing dynamic teams of Channel Sales professionals.
Proven track record of hitting and exceeding sales quota targets
Experience developing and facilitating industry channel and sales events
Demonstrated ability to collaborate and influence all levels of leadership across a matrix-style organization to achieve strategic objectives, including executive management.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to communicate and present effectively to multiple levels across the organization in both one-on-one and group settings.
Demonstrated leadership experience with proven success in performance management and professional team development.
Up to 50 % travel may be required.
Desire to own all parts of a partner lifecycle, starting with profiling/recruitment.
Familiarity with the Software as a Service (SaaS) model and the ability to incorporate it into alliance strategies.
Successful completion of a background screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC, SS Verification, as well as credit and drug screening, where applicable and in accordance with federal and local regulations
The ability to obtain the necessary credit line required to travel
