HILGER MEATS LLC Meat Cutter in HILGER, Montana

HOURS/DAYS: 30-40 hours per week, fair time to February could be 40+ if wanted

WAGE: DOE

DUTIES:

Cutting & Trimming: Butcher or portion beef, pork, lamb, and other meats to customer or company specifications.

Sanitation & Safety: Clean and sanitize workstations, tools, and machinery to meet health and safety standards.

Customer Service: Assist customers as needed.

Stocking: Help restock retail coolers and box customer orders as needed..

Boxing & Packaging: Box meat products for storage, shipment, or retail distribution.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Previous experience as a meat cutter, butcher, or similar role preferred, but willing to train.

Knowledge of different cuts of meat and proper handling techniques preferred, but will train.

Ability to work in a cold environment (walk in coolers/freezers) and lift heavy objects (typically 50+ lbs).

Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards (HACCP certification is a plus).

Strong knife skills and proficiency in using meat-cutting equipment.
