Accounting RepresentativeA locally owned and operated bank group in the growing Flathead Valley is hiring an Accounting Representative. This Montana bank has personalized service where customers can get to know their banker. They are committed to creating an enjoyable and fulfilling work environment.The primary responsibility of the Accounting Representative position is to perform accounting and finance activities on a daily, monthly, and quarterly basis. Additional responsibilities include providing customer service both internally and externally. If you are detail oriented and have a passion for precision and numbers, this is the perfect opportunity for you!Why you want this job:Starting wage is $19/hour, depending on experienceSchedule: Full time 8 hour shiftsThis is a direct hire position and their benefits include:Medical, dental and vision insurance401(k)Paid time offTuition reimbursementEssential Functions and Duties:Reconcile daily transactions, process exceptions, and resolve errorsProcess incoming/outgoing wires and ACH files; handle check adjustmentsManage payables, code invoices, and handle credit card administrative requestsPrepare, monitor, and validate month-end reports, tax accruals, and fixed assetsProcess levies, garnishments, and remit state/federal tax paymentsOrder/ship money to the Federal Reserve and ensure monthly bills are paidQualifications:Prior banking experience preferredExperience with math, accounting and financial processes strongly preferredMinimum of one year of customer service experienceMust be bondableIntermediary Excel skills requiredGet in touch!
