Our Mission: Quality, compassionate care for all.

Our Vision: Reimagine health care through connection, service and innovation.

Our Core Values: Be Kind | Trust and Be Trusted | Work Together | Strive for Excellence.

What We’re Looking For:

We are searching for someone who is enthusiastic, energetic, and genuinely cares about fostering the development of young minds. The ideal candidate will be patient, compassionate, creative, flexible, and always ready to bring a positive attitude to their work. A strong sense of cultural awareness and emotional intelligence is also key to providing a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Age: Must be at least 18 years old.

  • Education: An Associate’s degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education is preferred, but not required.

  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience in early childhood education is preferred.

  • Training: Completion of relevant licensing and state-required training is a plus!

  • Certifications: CPR/AED and First Aid certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire (we’ll help you get this!).

  • Skills: We need someone who is detail-oriented, highly organized, a self-starter, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team. You’ll also need excellent communication and interpersonal skills – including the ability to engage with kids, families, and colleagues professionally.

    About our facility:

Kid Kare and Kid Kare Infant Center are childcare facilities licensed by the state of Montana and STAR 2 in the STARS to Quality Program, which requires standards of excellence.

Our center cares for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years as a service for all Logan Health employees on a space-available basis.

Children are encouraged to explore their environment and learn self-sufficiency, while being taught critical thinking and life skills in preparation for later educational experiences.

    What You’ll Be Doing:

In this role, you’ll make a significant impact on the lives of children and help guide them through some of their most formative years. Here’s a look at your daily responsibilities:

  • Create a Safe and Stimulating Environment: You’ll be responsible for keeping all play and learning areas free of hazards and promoting cleanliness and health standards. You’ll also design age-appropriate activities to challenge kids and encourage their curiosity.

  • Provide Supervision & Support: Ensuring the safety and well-being of children at all times is a top priority. You’ll guide them through play and learning while fostering an environment where they feel comfortable to explore and try new things.

  • Develop Lifelong Healthy Habits: Help children develop essential skills related to nutrition, exercise, and health/safety that will set them up for a lifetime of healthy choices.

  • Collaborate with a Great Team: You’ll work closely with other educators and staff to plan activities, implement learning experiences, and provide an environment where everyone can succeed. You’ll also have the opportunity to mentor new staff and contribute ideas to improve our overall workflow.

  • Administrative Support: You’ll assist with necessary paperwork and documentation, ensuring that everything is completed accurately and on time.

  • Respect & Diversity: Embrace the unique backgrounds, abilities, and cultures of each child and family you work with and always strive to provide an inclusive and respectful environment.

    Why you’ll love working here:

  • Team Environment: Work with a fun, supportive team that shares your passion for helping children grow and thrive.

  • Growth Opportunities: We’re committed to professional development and will support you with training and resources to expand your skills and advance in your career.
