Applied Materials Costing Engineer II - (E2) in Kalispell, Montana

Job Profile Summary:

Requires knowledge and experience in own discipline; still acquiring higher level knowledge and skills. Builds knowledge of the company, processes and customers. Solves a range of straight forward problems. Analyzes possible solutions using standard procedures. Receives moderate level of guidance and direction.

Job Description Key Responsibilities:

  • PPC Product function knowledge is preferred: Raider, Raider S, Nokota, Mustang

  • Prepare accurate quote costing and detailed Scope of work

  • Own and schedule Configuration Accuracy Review Meetings for ordered NSO’s

  • Design and release upgrade BOM’s

  • Develop accurate and complete installation instruction packages including tool documentation updates

  • Design or modify mechanical and electrical engineering layouts/schematics and/or detailed drawings/specifications of moderate scope under general supervision

  • Coordinate the procurement and assembly of electromechanical components/equipment and identify sources of critical parts and subsystems to resolve moderately complex technical issues

  • Coordinate production build including OMS generation

  • Recommended business software knowledge: MS Office and applications, Team Center, SAP, Creo, Creo View, FoxPro, AutoCad

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Electrical, or related engineering discipline.

  • Demonstrates expanded conceptual knowledge in own discipline and broadens capabilities

  • Understands key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work

  • No supervisory responsibilities but provides informal guidance to new team members
