Job Opportunity: Crusher Laborer

Location: Kalispell, MT

We are excited to offer opportunities for Crusher Laborer(s) to join our aggregate team. We currently have openings in both local and out-of-town operations . This entry-level role is ideal for motivated, hard-working individuals looking to build a long-term career in the construction industry, with ample opportunity for skill development and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shovel excess materials to prevent buildup and stoppage in conveyors, rollers, and tail pulleys.

  • Perform general plant maintenance, including oiling, greasing, screen and bearing changes, and belt repairs.

  • Maintain cleanliness and safety at the crusher, including debris removal and housekeeping tasks.

  • Safely operate equipment such as skid steers and mechanics trucks.

  • Utilize hand tools for maintenance tasks.

  • Assist operators and skilled laborers as needed.

  • Promote and maintain a safe work environment.

  • Perform additional duties as instructed by supervisors.

    Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of labor experience preferred.

  • Experience in construction is a plus.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude.

    Desired Skills:

  • Commitment to safety and adherence to safety regulations.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Positive attitude with the ability to work in a team or independently.

  • Self-starter with problem-solving abilities.

  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, days, and overtime.

  • Willingness to travel as needed.

    Physical Requirements:

  • Lift 50-75 lbs regularly.

  • Perform repetitive movements, including bending, kneeling, and climbing ladders.

  • Tolerate all weather conditions, loud environments, and vibrations.

  • Maintain physical endurance for extended use of hand tools and varied jobsite tasks.

  • Occasional sitting

  • Lift/Carry Up to 51 - 75 lbs.

  • Occasional Kneel/Crawl

  • Occasional climbing and reaching

  • Occasional fine manipulation

  • Rarely use of Foot controls

  • Frequent grasping hand and power tools

  • Occasional bending/stooping

  • Frequent push/pull

  • Frequent standing, walking, and balancing

    Compensation and Benefits:

  • Hourly Rate: $24-$26, based on experience.

  • Medical Insurance:

  • Year 1: Employer covers 80% of family premiums.

  • Years 2 & 3: Employer covers 90%.

  • Year 4+: Employer covers 100%.

  • Employer HSA contributions for those with High Deductible Health Plans.

  • Dental & Vision Insurance: Cost-share at 50/50.
