SCOPE OF POSITION: Performs custodial duties to include dusting, mopping, vacuuming and shampooing carpets, window washing, cleaning and restocking restrooms, finishing and buffing floors. Takes Corps vehicle to local grocery stores to pick up donated groceries as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Primary Function: To maintain the Corps building in good physical condition and provide a clean and neat appearance
Duties:
Perform all work as listed on the Custodial Duty Schedule
Provide Corps Officer with cleaning material needs at one-week inventory level
Keep the facilities clean and organized, including but not limited to vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, emptying trash, washing windows, cleaning and organizing storage areas, dusting, washing floors, cleaning carpets, and cleaning tables, chairs, and other furnishings as necessary.
Clean Social Services Shower throughout the day as needed
Pick up food donations from local grocery, restaurants, and log the proper counting for reports.
Perform minor maintenance
Set up and tear down for rental groups as assigned.
Other duties as assigned by Corps Officer
Maintain OSHA required SDS records
Montana Driver’s License required, clean driving record
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to understand written and verbal communications
Ability to lift 50 pounds safely and repeatedly, utilizing safe lifting techniques
Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures
Ability to safely handle cleaning supplies
Ability to safely operate vacuums and other cleaning equipment
Required to pass The Salvation Army Safe From Harm screening
Required to pass The Salvation Army Annual Driving Examination
