Kalispell Regional Healthcare Facility HVAC Engineer - KRMC Plant Operations in Kalispell, Montana
Perform specialized calibration, testing, balancing and maintenance. Perform general repair and preventative maintenance on various types of machinery, equipment and systems throughout the facilities. Complete work generated from Maintenance Work Orders.
*Maintain, adjust and repair equipment in a safe, efficient and professional manner to ensure proper and efficient operation.
*Responsible for the operation and maintenance of all HVAC systems.
*Must provide conscientious service, cooperation, teamwork, loyalty, good manners, consideration, competence and confidence.
*Is able to operate and perform other engineers’ specific duties in their absence, in a willing, efficient and professional manner.
*May perform other tasks as directed the by the Plant Operations Supervisor willingly and professionally.
*Actively looks for ways to conserve and reduce energy consumption. Review energy management with the Facility Director on a scheduled basis.
- Is able to understand sequence of operation.
- Is able to troubleshoot and repair all types of HVAC controls.
- Is able to operate a direct digital control system.
- Is able to understand the refrigeration process.
*Maintains regular and consistent attendance at work as scheduled by department

High school diploma or equivalent with major in mechanical or trades curriculum and 2 years schooling in a related field, or 5 years on-the-job experience in a large building or complex.
Five years boiler and HVAC, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and plumbing experience required.
Must maintain a valid Montana State Boilers License and universal EPA refrigeration license.
Must have computer and facilities management systems experience.
Continuing education is a requirement of the job.
Must be proactive and flexible at all times to ensure department goals are accomplished.
Must maintain a valid Montana driver’s license.
