Applied Materials Global Program Adoption in Kalispell, Montana

Job Summary:

A critical role within the AGS Business Systems & Analytics (BSA) Organization, the Global Program Adoption (GPA) team has 3 key focus areas:

  • Voice of the Field: The GPA team is the field champions within the various projects being supported by the BSA Project management office, providing the project team insights into the field organizations challenges and needs from the project.

  • Communication: The GPA team facilitates communication between other organizations and the field, using a variety of approaches such as hosting conferences, monthly council sessions, field messenger, etc. to ensure that the field managers and CEs are aware of new and changing requirements within Applied.

  • Change Management & Adoption: The GPA team supports project change practitioners by guiding them through the Prosci process, helping them connect with the right people to drive change management and adoption.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive cross-functional collaboration between the project teams and impacted teams, such as FSO and iTeam

  • Critical program management and tracking to enhance organizational productivity

  • Communicate key program updates through various mediums such as Council meetings, e-mail and Field Messenger

  • Identify opportunities and champion process efficiency and streamlining

  • Anticipate complex issues and resolve conflicts to ensure timely execution of key projects

Functional Knowledge:

  • Demonstrates in-depth knowledge and understanding of the field service, spares, and sales organizations

  • Strong data analytics capability

  • Requires functional knowledge and expertise of the Prosci change management process

  • Broad understanding of the systems and practices of the FSO organization and other impacted teams

Business Expertise:

  • Applies change management background to improve project speed of adoption and utilization

  • Leverages extensive operational knowledge to help drive program requirements that improve organizational efficiency.

Problem Solving:

  • Directs the resolution of highly complex or unusual business problems by applying a cross-functional and structured approach

Interpersonal Skills:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Capable of speaking to medium to large groups of employees

  • Able to communicate effectively across diverse cultural and knowledge levels

  • Flexible in using different types of virtual communication

  • Develop strong business relationships with key stakeholders to drive necessary change

  • Effective in using constructive conflict


  • Education:

  • Preferred: Bachelors degree

  • Certifications:

  • Preferred: Project Management Professional Certification

  • Preferred: Certified Prosci Change Practitioner

  • Years of experience:

  • 5+ years of field service experience

  • Preferred: Change management experience

  • Preferred: Project management experience

  • Preferred: Cross-functional experience in silicon systems, display systems or supply chain organizations
