Loan AssistantA locally owned and operated bank group in the growing Flathead Valley is hiring an Accounting Representative. This Montana bank has personalized service where customers can get to know their banker. They are committed to creating an enjoyable and fulfilling work environment.The Loan Assistant will provide loan support to both disciplines including Real Estate & Commercial lending. The position will work with internal personnel, customers, both current and prospect, and vendors, such as title companies, insurance companies and government entities. The responsibilities include assisting with real estate and consumer loan administration.Why you want this job:Starting wage is $21/hour, depending on experienceSchedule: Full time 8 hour shiftsThis is a direct hire position and their benefits include:Medical, dental and vision insurance401(k)Paid time offTuition reimbursementEssential Functions and Duties:Prepare and manage loan documentation, including credit reports, collateral documents, and financial statements.Perform basic underwriting functions and submit loans for secondary market approval.Coordinate loan closings and handle post-closing tasks, such as document verification and recordings.Follow up with borrowers for underwriting items, manage loans coming due, and handle modifications/extensions.Provide clerical support to lending staff, manage calendars, appointments, and travel arrangements.Ensure exceptional customer service and maintain knowledge of banking products, policies, and regulatory compliance.Qualifications:Prior banking experience in loan support or processing preferredThree years of administrative experience preferredProficiency with computers, writing and editingMust be bondableGet in touch!
