Position Summary

The Operations Manager position provides day to day physical and fiscal management of the crisis house.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Staff scheduling / monitoring/ non-clinical supervision; (FT, PT, relief)

  • Covering open shifts as needed / ensuring the Emergency Detention Unit stays open 24/7/365

  • Approve CSW timesheets and time off requests

  • Completion of performance evaluations; corrective actions; and other personnel activities for CSWs

  • Program specific training for CSW staff is implemented and ensured completed as required by licensure

  • Facilitate staff meetings in conjunction with the Clinical Supervisor

  • Actively facilitate the hiring of CSWs

  • Consult and coordinate with other programs (OP, Med Providers, DIC, ACM, etc) as clients transition or program needs arise

  • Manage the administrative needs of CRT paperwork and linkage to court for ED hearings and inform CRT team of upcoming hearings and track CRT covering the hearings

  • Responsive to client and co-worker needs, including being tactful, respectful and considerate of others regardless of their status

  • Manages difficult customer situations in a professional manner

  • Oversee billing process and ensure administrative aspects of the billing are completed

  • Complete chart audits in conjunction with the Clinical Supervisor

  • Daily functioning of the facility -purchasing supplies (office, food, maintenance, approving purchase of medications, etc. food, monitoring meal plan, & plan implementation)

  • Ensuring the physical facility is in good working order and maintenance is scheduled as needed

  • Observes safety and security procedures and reports any potentially unsafe conditions

  • Ensure Fire Drills are completed and documented as required for licensure

  • Additional duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, counseling or a related behavioral science

  • One year related experience

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Completion of CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention), First Aid, CPR training required

  • Ability to pass background check and driver’s license check upon offer of employment.

  • Provide proof of auto liability insurance coverage per Western’s policies.

  • Current and valid driver’s license with good driving record if required to transport clients while on work duty

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, counseling or a related behavioral science
