Overview
Provides individual, family and group therapy sessions. Plans and implements treatment planning, assessments, and discharge planning. This position complies with documentation and all state and federal regulations.
Responsibilities
Provides individual, family and group therapy as well as care coordination and planning as needed for assigned patients.
*Provides treatment plans, reviews medical record documentation and reports progress for assigned patients to agencies and referral sources.
*Communicates effectively with referral sources regarding patient progress and aftercare planning.
*Works with team members and communicates clinical information during treatment team meetings, clinical staffing, and other meetings as required.
*Meets documentation requirements and coding per organizations expectations and audits.
*Demonstrates a good working relationship with fellow employees and referral sources. Proactively uses solution oriented problem solving skills. Comfortable and willing to take all concerns to appropriate person/persons in a timely manner. Able to take feedback and direction to implement change.
*Understands the importance of treatment planning and how to incorporate treatment plan into charting, case staffings.
*Suggests approaches/interventions that might be more effective with patients to team and coworkers.
Qualifications
Minimum of a Doctorate Degree in Psychology required.
Current Montana licensure required.
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in mental health treatment programs.
Must have a thorough knowledge of fundamentals of psychotherapy and/or testing with mental health population
Must have a working knowledge as to the following professional services: Psychiatry, Psychology, Social Work and education.
Must have knowledge of behavioral contingency management
Must possess professional communication skills, and work effectively with a diverse customer and coworker population.
