Logan Health Printing Department Specialist - Print Shop - Part time 20 hrs/wk in Kalispell, Montana

Job Description Summary:

Assists in the operational support and coordination of the Printing Services by processing printing requests.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in a similar role preferred.

  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a professional print shop setting preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to utiliz e publishing and forms software preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to operate high speed duplication, drill press, paper cutter and laminating machines preferred.

  • Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, a self-starter, possess critical thinking skills and be able to set priorities and function as part of a team as well as independently.

  • Commitment to working in a team environment and maintaining confidentiality as needed.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.

  • Possess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed.

Job Specific Duties:

  • Accurately documents services provided to Logan Health entities per department procedures.

  • Responsible for quality control on finished jobs to ensure delivered product meets standards and customer expectations.

  • Efficiently operates digital press equipment and performs color calibration.

  • Performs scoring and folding of brochures and other related documents per department procedure.

  • Provides administrative and technical support for assigned area(s) in an organized and accurate manner according to policies and procedures.

  • Coordinates and communicates the flow of activity, information, and daily operations for the assigned area(s).

  • Exhibits knowledge and understanding of policies and procedures as they relate to the assigned area(s) and Logan Health.

  • Develops and maintains a record-keeping system per department protocol and as applicable to assigned area(s).

  • Assists in documenting and documentation collection as applicable to assigned area(s).

  • Proactively anticipates and prepares multi-faceted priorities, agendas and schedules as applicable to assigned area(s).

  • Consistently sets priorities resulting in the assigned area(s) functioning in an efficient and orderly manner.

  • Exhibits a commitment to professionalism while undertaking all tasks and in all interactions.

  • Performs quality control on finished jobs to ensure delivered product meets standards and customer expectations as applicable to assigned area(s).

  • Assists with various department activities as requested and provides backup coverage for other support staff as applicable to assigned area(s).

  • Responsible for ordering office supplies and maintains a consistent inventory as applicable to assigned area(s).

Schedule:

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
