Production Stone Installer & FabricatorA home design business, located in Kalispell, MT, in the heart of the Flathead Valley is seeking a Production Stone Fabricator/Installer to add to their busy team. They have been helping customers for over 30 years and pride themselves on customer service and offering quality products for any budget.As a key member of our production team, you will work closely with project managers, designers, and other trades to ensure that each stone installation is completed to specification and on schedule. If you have a passion for working with stone, enjoy hands-on work, and take pride in delivering exceptional results, apply today!Pay: $24 to $32/hour, depending on experienceSchedule: Full-time: 4,10 hour days with occasional Friday workBenefits:Paid Dental, Vision and Life Insurance50% paid Health Insurance6 Paid HolidaysEssential Functions and Duties:Measure, cut, and shape natural and engineered stone materials to meet project specificationsOperate stone cutting, polishing, and finishing tools and machineryInstall stone countertops, backsplashes, flooring, and other stone features according to project requirements and architectural plansSafely transport and handle stone slabs, ensuring they are free from damage during transit, fabrication, and installationConduct quality checks on both fabricated and installed stone to ensure consistency, accuracy, and flawless craftsmanshipCommunicate professionally with clients during installation, addressing any concerns or questionsQualifications:Must be able to read and understand blueprints and/or layoutsMust have organizational and planning capabilities and effective communication skillsAbility to lift up to 60 lbs utilizing proper lifting techniquesMust be able to do routine arithmetic calculations, for job managementAbility to read, analyze, and interpret common blueprints, layout and specificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentMust have a current driver’s licenseGet in touch!
