Logan Health Provider Recruitment Sourcing Specialist - Remote in Kalispell, Montana

Job Description Summary:

This position recruits/sources qualified Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers for Logan Health Medical Center (LHMC). Responsibilities encompass the entire provider recruitment process from marketing, cold-calling, sourcing, interviewing, site visits, checking references, conducting follow-up, pre-boarding, and on-boarding of the providers for LHMC.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred.

  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in Physician and/or Advanced Practice Provider Recruiting/Sourcing required.

  • Association of Staff Physician Recruiters Certification preferred and must be successfully obtained within one (1) year of hire.

  • Highly experienced in all aspects of candidate prospecting including cold calls, job board mining, research, associations/organization involvement and networking preferred.

  • Experience in job board, print advertising and direct marketing preferred.

  • Knowledge and experience with effectively presenting information and responding to questions from providers and administrators preferred.

  • Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, a self-starter, possess critical thinking skills and be able to set priorities and function as part of a team as well as independently.

  • Commitment to working in a team environment and maintaining confidentiality as needed.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.

  • Possess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed.

Job Specific Duties:

  • Responsible for candidate lead generation, pre-screening and appropriate follow-up of provider candidates.

  • In coordination with leadership, develops effective recruitment strategies/campaigns for recruitment of providers.

  • Conducts internet research utilizing healthcare related sites to identify provider recruiting trends.

  • Successfully utilizes social media, general print advertisement, related internet sites, medical trade/association meeting participation, direct mail campaigns and association membership, etc. to recruit providers.

  • Prepares provider for on-site interview-travel arrangements and coordinates tours, interviews, etc.

  • Maintains open and responsive communication with leadership, hospital administration team, appropriate practice personnel and candidates.

  • Establishes and maintains professional relationships with external sourcing agencies and consistently networks with healthcare professionals.

  • Responsible for the process of reviewing candidate’s qualifications and documentations, conducts initial interviews and determines quality and fit for culture per department protocol.

  • Maintains database of candidate information to include resume, contact information, internal referrals and follow-up information.

  • Recruits providers in compliance with all federal/state laws, guidelines, and Logan Health policies.

  • Works in close collaboration with Administration, Practice Managers, Human Resources and Medical Staff Services of LHMC.

  • Ensures plans and processes are in place to execute strategies that will enhance and develop provider and executive engagement at all levels of the recruitment/retention/deployment process.

  • Executes ‘best practice’ recruitment and retention strategies of providers for LHMC.

Schedule:

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
