Location: Logan Health Medical Center – Kalispell, MontanaSchedule: Seasonal assignment for a minimum of 13 weeks

Your Role:
As a Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray Tech), you’ll perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures and play a vital role in providing safe, accurate imaging services that assist with diagnosis and treatment. Your expertise, compassion, and attention to detail will ensure that patients feel informed, comfortable, and supported throughout their experience.
What You’ll Do:
Perform diagnostic imaging exams following department protocols and ALARA principles.
Assess and support patients physically and emotionally before, during, and after imaging procedures.
Collaborate with providers and radiology team members to ensure accurate imaging and patient care.
Assist with exam preparation, venipuncture (as applicable), and post-procedure instructions.
Ensure timely documentation, image quality assurance, and protocol compliance.
Monitor and report any equipment issues or safety concerns to leadership.
Maintain a clean, stocked, and safe imaging environment.
What You’ll Need:
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program (required).
2+ years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist in a clinical setting (required).
ARRT Certification in Radiology (required).
Montana State Radiologic Technologist License (required).
Current BLS CPR certification (RQI Responder) (required)
Knowledge of radiology protocols, equipment, and patient prep techniques.
Excellent communication, organization, and critical thinking skills.

Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program required.
ARRT Certification in Radiology required. Current and valid Montana State license in Radiological Technology required.
RQI Responder CPR certificate required.
Possess knowledge of medical office procedures and medical terminology preferred. Knowledge of equipment, supplies, and instruments used in a medical office preferred.
Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, a self-starter, possess critical thinking skills and be able to set priorities and function as part of a team as well as independently.
Commitment to working in a team environment and maintaining confidentiality as needed.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
Possess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed.
Job Specific Duties:
Performs and documents assessment of the patient utilizing available information and incorporating the patient’s perception of illness/condition.
Assists provider with examinations and procedures as directed and in accordance with established scope of practice as applicable to assigned area(s).
Maintains an understanding of current exam protocols as applicable to assigned area(s). Works in collaboration with the radiology department to ensure the most up to date protocols are followed.
Accurately and efficiently transcribes and implements provider orders and treatments. Consistently problem solves issues affecting patient care.
Follows current exam protocols to perform diagnostic imaging procedures as applicable to assigned area(s).
Maintains accountability to technologist competency/quality control standards. Reviews QA report and takes appropriate action as indicated.
Assists with maintaining and coordinating repairs and services as needed. Monitors equipment for malfunction and alerts leadership per department procedures and protocol and as applicable to assigned area(s).
Performs administrative responsibilities per department procedure and protocol.

Schedule:
Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
