Logan Health Receiving/Distribution Clerk in Kalispell, Montana

Job Description Summary:

This position performs efficient operations by receiving, warehousing and distributing supplies while ensuring accuracy for expenses and inventory levels as applicable to assigned area(s).

Qualifications:

  • To be eligible for the Driver portion of the position:

  • Current Driver’s License required.

  • Driving record for the previous thirty-six (36) months must not reflect any major driving offenses (i.e; DUI, convicted of a felony involving a motor vehicle, suspended license, three (3) or more speeding tickets or other moving violations, etc.).

  • In addition, personal vehicles used for LH business:

  • State law minimum liability coverage limits required.

  • Current CPR required as applicable to assigned area(s).

  • Previous experience in receiving, inventory, and distribution preferred. Previous experience utilizing bar code scanners for inventory and replenishment preferred.

  • Must possess working knowledge of business math skills to include; addition, subtraction, division and multiplication).

  • Forklift certification required as applicable to assigned area(s).

  • Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, a self-starter, possess critical thinking skills and be able to set priorities and function as part of a team as well as independently.

  • Commitment to working in a team environment and maintaining confidentiality as needed.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.

  • Possess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed.

Job Specific Duties:

  • Receives and ensures accuracy of products delivered per department protocol as applicable for assigned area(s).

  • Organizes received goods to ensure efficient product flow.

  • Accurately enters into the designated system all receipts, ensuring correct purchase order (PO), quantity, and packing unit between shipment and order as applicable to assigned area(s).

  • Delivers products to designated locations per department protocol and as applicable to assigned area(s).

  • Prepares packages and processes for outgoing shipping per department protocol and as applicable to assigned area(s).

  • Accurately replenishes and inventories stock per department protocol as applicable to assigned area(s).

  • Ensures rotation of supplies per department protocol and as applicable to assigned area(s).

  • Enters data, creates modifications, oversees assigned area inventory levels, and creates and/or updates computerized stock dictionaries as applicable to assigned area(s).

  • Breaks down boxes for disposal and maintains a clean, safe working environment as applicable to assigned area(s).

Maintains regular and consistent attendance as scheduled by department leadership.

Schedule:

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
