About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Registered Nurse (RN) to join our fast-paced Primary Care & Walk-In Clinic team. In this role, you will work alongside Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and Medical Assistants to provide high-quality patient care across all age groups, from infants to seniors. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about triage, hands-on nursing care, and collaboration with a skilled medical team.

Qualifications:

  • Current Montana RN License or a multi-state compact license with authorization to practice nursing within the state of Montana; required.

  • BSN degree preferred.

  • Current HCP CPR certification required.

  • Minimum of two (2) years’ nursing experience preferred.

  • Current ACLS and PALS certification may be required in certain departments and successfully obtained within six (6) months of hire.

  • Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, a self-starter, possess critical thinking skills and be able to set priorities and function as part of a team as well as independently.

  • Commitment to working in a team environment and maintaining confidentiality as needed.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.

  • Possess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Triage & Patient Assessment: Evaluate walk-in patients upon check-in, flagging concerning symptoms and escalating care as needed.

  • Nursing Care: Administer IVs, phlebotomy, catheter care, injections, and Point of Care Testing; assist in imaging setup.

  • Clinic Flow Support: Room patients, assist providers, and direct patients to the ER when necessary.

  • Provider Collaboration: Work closely with a team of 3-4 providers per day to ensure efficient patient care.

  • Patient Volume Management: Help manage a daily patient volume of 50–100 in a high-energy setting.

  • Team Contribution: Support medical assistants and fellow nurses to create a seamless, patient-centered experience.

    Schedule & Work Environment:

  • Rotating weekend shifts (approx. once per month).

  • No night shifts or on-call requirements.

  • Closed on Christmas, Thanksgiving, and Easter

Shift:

Day Shift - 8 Hours (United States of America)

Full-Time, Monday–Friday with rotating weekendsHours: 9 AM – 6 PM (may vary to 8 AM – 5 PM)On-Call Requirements: NoneNights & Weekends: Rotating weekends (approximately one per month)

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
