Job Description Summary:
Join Our Team as an RN Outpatient Specialty – Urology Procedural Clinic!

If so, we invite you to consider joining our Urology Procedural Clinic team as an RN Outpatient Specialty Nurse ! In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to assist with a variety of innovative and specialized procedures, ensuring that each patient feels cared for, informed, and supported throughout their journey.
Four, 10-hour shifts per week, Tuesday - Frid
No holidays and no on call!
What You’ll Do:
Take patient vitals and administer medications with precision and care.
Assist surgeons during urology procedures like cystoscopy, vasectomy, and Botox injections.
Handle charting and documentation to ensure accurate patient records.
Prepare patients for procedures and provide compassionate care during post-procedure discharge.
Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and maintain a safe, high-quality environment.
Educate patients on treatment plans and provide valuable medication information.

Qualifications:
Current Montana RN License or a multi-state compact license with authorization to practice nursing within the state of Montana; required.
BSN degree preferred.
Current HCP CPR certification required.
Minimum of two (2) years’ nursing experience preferred.
Current ACLS and PALS certification may be required in certain departments and successfully obtained within six (6) months of hire.
Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, a self-starter, possess critical thinking skills and be able to set priorities and function as part of a team as well as independently.
Commitment to working in a team environment and maintaining confidentiality as needed.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
Possess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed.
Job Specific Duties:
Performs patient assessment. Utilizes all available sources of information and incorporates the patient’s perception of illness.
Develops an individualized plan of care for each patient and updates the plan throughout the visit as appropriate.
Consistently identifies safety issues concerning the patient and staff during visit.
Independently reviews medication lists and provides ongoing medication or treatment education at the directive of physician or advanced practice provider.
Coordinates with healthcare team to provide continuity of care.
Participates in the development and delivery of education and competency validation of clinical staff.
Utilizes department Standard of Care and individualizes care provided on an on-going basis per department standards.
Administers medications per provider order.
Demonstrates a commitment to professionalism while undertaking and completing all department competencies .

Day Shift - 10 Hours (United States of America)
Schedule Details:
Please know schedules and shifts are subject to change based on patient care and department/organizational needs.
Schedule: 40 hours per week (four 10-hour shifts), Tuesday- Friday. No on call and No holidays
Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
