Salary is negotiable depending upon relevant experience.About The Role This is a Corporate Position which can be located in an available bank division location across our eight-state footprint. The entry rate for this position is $55,159+/year (calculated for Coeur d' Alene, ID). All compensation offers are analyzed individually and take into consideration multiple factors including but not limited to geographic location, years of experience, and educational background. Summary Responsible for managing the risks associated within secondary marketing transactions, including pipeline and interest rate risk management, pricing, hedging, trading and loan sales to maximize profitability, with a focus on accurate data and reporting, in alignment with the organization's "Great Data Initiative". In-depth dialogues, conversations and explanations with customers, direct and indirect reports and outside vendors can be of a sensitive and/or highly confidential nature. Communications may involve motivating, influencing, educating and/or advising others on matters of significance. Will have exposure to sensitive information and must use considerable tact, diplomacy and judgment. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: \* Evaluate, confirm, and process pricing upon receipt of each lock or extension request and revise as requested or needed. Execute commitments with investors and allocates/pools loan into commitments. Enter/Manage/Maintain rate locks within the LOS with a focus on great data and reports on Secondary Market activities on a daily/weekly/monthly basis. \* Responsible for Rate Lock Desk Activities including utilization of the product & pricing engine, locking loans, pairing off loans, extending locks, recording /reconciling investor fees, and netting the overage and underage of the rate locks and implementing pricing adjustments to compensate for rate differentials and updating the Loan Operating System (LOS) with this information. \* Works with the third-party risk management firm to manage loan sales including servicing retained or released, correspondent investor AOT/DTs, whole loan sales, etc; the interest rate risk of the mortgage pipeline including hedging and trading activities; best execution analysis \* Monitors and maintains investor rate lock pipelines. \* Manages Locked Loan Pipeline to ensure delivery within commitment periods, working to minimize commitment loss/fees. \* Responsible for the reconciliation of the purchase advice from investors to ensure accuracy of bank income. Reports on short falls and updates LOS accordingly. \* Must comply with all company policies and procedures and all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control. Must complete the assigned online training courses and achieve a passing score by due date. About You QUALIFICATIONS: Education Bachelor's Degree required: Area of study: Finance, Accounting and/or Business Related. EXPERIENCE: 5 years Secondary Marketing or Capital Markets experience required. Thorough knowledge of various office software including but not limited to Word, Excel, Internet Explorer, Chrome, Email and Calendaring required. An equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience will be considered.
