Kalispell Regional Healthcare Sonographer - Ultrasound North in Kalispell, Montana
Works independently under the supervision of Radiologists/Perinatologists and assigned leadership. Performs a variety of procedures utilizing ultrasound and other imaging equipment. Provides care to patients ranging in age from fetal to geriatric.
Accurately and efficiently performs ultrasound and other imaging procedures.
Participates and coordinates patient care and flow. Provides for physical and psychological needs of patient during examination.
Maintains accountability to and for policies and procedures.
Maintains understanding of and follows current exam protocols.
Maintains accountability to technologist competency and quality control standards.
Stays current on training and continuing education.
Assists with maintaining and ordering supply stock as directed.
Maintains equipment and coordinates repairs and service as needed or directed

Maintains regular and consistent attendance as scheduled by department leadership.
Graduate of accredited school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography required.
ARDMS Registration required.
Minimum of one (1) year general/vascular ultrasound experience preferred.
Minimum of one (1) year of MFM ultrasound experience preferred.
Current CPR required.
Possess skill in all ultrasound procedures and comprehensive knowledge of anatomy required.
Possess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed.
Current Driver’s License required. Must have a good driving record clear of moving violations in the past five (5) years and no major driving offenses (DUI, etc.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, a self-starter, possess critical thinking skills and be able to set priorities and function as part of a team as well as independently.
