CTA Architects and Engineers Structural Engineer in Training in Kalispell, Montana

Qualifications* you will bring to the table:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering from ABET accredited four-year University
- 0-5 years experience in structural design
- Have an active EIT certification or the ability to obtain one with-in six months
- Basic knowledge of Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to solve problems using basic structural engineering principles
- High level of collaboration and communication
- Ability to effectively manage time
- Perform research into local jurisdictional requirements
- Provide and implement basic code requirements
- Perform structural engineering analysis and develop design calculations
- Work with a Senior Engineer to develop Construction Documents (Plans and Specifications)
As a Team Member at Cushing Terrell, you will
- preform engineering analysis and develop design calculations, you will read and understand technical standards and codes, and should you should be knowledgeable and familiar with steel and concrete design
- Various types of projects you will work on:
- Various types of pallet racking
- Steel framed mezzanines
- Steel storage shelving
- Vertical and horizontal conveyor support systems
- Seismic anchorage of equipment
- You will design efficient systems and improve processes, templates, and other tools
- Perform research into local jurisdictional requirements
- Provide and implement basic code requirements
- Work with a Senior Engineer to develop Construction Documents (Plans and Specifications)
- You will collaborate across multiple office and with multiple disciplines to create the best work for out clients
Your pay
The salary for this position is based on the location/s posted. If you are a candidate living outside of (this region/these regions), we still encourage you to apply as salary ranges may differ across states/cities/job markets.
- Expected Range: $58,000 to $70,000
- The position is also eligible for an annual performance bonus
