Job Description Summary:
This position provides real work experience in healthcare and as applicable to assigned area(s).
Minimum of one (1) year of college required.
Additional requirements for Information Services (IS) assignment:
Enrolled and studying Information Systems, Computer Science or related IS studies.
Healthcare experience preferred.
Must possess a desire to gain professional experience within the related field of assignment.
Possess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed.
Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, a self-starter, possess critical thinking skills and be able to set priorities and function as part of a team as well as independently.
Commitment to working in a team environment and maintaining confidentiality as needed.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
Job Specific Duties:
Performs basic office tasks to include; technology support, filing, photocopying, answering phones and greeting customers as applicable to assigned area(s).
Assists with administrative projects as assigned.
Works in a professional manner and utilizes excellent customer service in all interactions.
Asks questions and seeks assistance as appropriate for the task assigned. Seeks out learning opportunities.
Inputs, analyzes and presents data ensuring accuracy and utilizing appropriate computer software.
Utilizes professional judgment handling situations while consistently maintaining privacy and confidentiality.
Exhibits effective and professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
Exhibits effective problem-solving skills and is professional and flexible in interactions.
Additional Job Duties for IS assignment: utilizes IS software and hardware to respond to tickets and performs desktop and application service functions.

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
