Logan Health Telecommunications Technician - Logan Health Telecommunications - Full Time in Kalispell, Montana
Job Description Summary:
Assists with maintenance and installation of internal and exterior structured cabling owned and/or operated by Logan Health. To include computer builds, issue resolution and equipment moves.
Qualifications:
Minimum of one (1) year’s experience with, telecommunications and low voltage structure cabling systems preferred.
Possess ability to read and comprehend technical schematics and technical drawings.
Must possess skills related to business office applications.
Previous experience and an understanding of project management preferred.
Must communicate effectively and maintain cooperative relationships with providers, staff members, patients and the community. Ability to employ tact, diplomacy and compassion with all types of people.
Job Duties:
*Responsible to plan, schedule, install, and deploy structured cabling for network (data and voice) and low voltage services including cabling for alarms, nurse call, telephony, biomedical and cable TV services, following best practice guidelines for cabling layout and design.
*Independently performs assigned cabling infrastructure deployment projects, manages work to project timelines and commitments while delivering work for multiple concurrent projects.
*Responsible for timely reporting of break-fix, task, work order and project issues to designated leadership.
*Supports the HIT and Design and Construction teams in meeting project timelines and commitments. Coordinates with design and construction, building contractors, voice and data service providers, and department managers to ensure on-time delivery of infrastructure that meets business requirements.
*Accurately maintains structured cabling documentation per department procedure and protocol.
*Performs preventative maintenance of structured cabling installations as needed.
*Assures Life Safety and Infection Control measures are properly used and maintained.
*Performs basic troubleshooting and repair of structured cabling and equipment.
*Maintains regular and consistent attendance at work as scheduled by department
leadership.
Work Environment:
Works throughout the Logan Health campus as well as possible outreach locations. Due to the nature of the business, tolerance of noise, excessive heat and cold, height, dust, dirt, confined spaces, as well as dark and potentially hazardous situations is required. Hazardous materials inventory and MSDS available.

Day Shift - 8 Hours (United States of America)
Schedule Details:
Please know schedules and shifts are subject to change based on patient care and department/organizational needs.
Schedule:
Primarily weekdays, Monday thru Friday. Occasionally may be required to adjust schedule to include weekends, starting and ending times and number of hours worked. Must be able to take on call shifts.
