Express Employment Professionals is hiring for a “Forklift Operator / Warehouse” opportunity for a local Flathead Valley company!
Work schedule; Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM
As a Forklift Operator with us, we partner to maintain warehouse operations, including stocking, moving materials or stock, loading/unloading trucks, maintaining an organized warehouse and its storage system at our new facility. You’ll prepare materials for production use or shipping/receiving, operate a Forklift and perform other duties as needed. Coaching and regular feedback will be provided for continuous improvement
Responsibilities:
Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments, material or equipment needsMove freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, ships, or containers, by hand or using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or other equipmentLoading and unloading of truck trailers and other vehiclesAddress and report all equipment defects or maintenance needs to maintain safe and efficient useMay perform special continuous improvement projects as needed
Requirements:
High School diploma or GED, preferredForklift experience and able to maintain certifications on equipment such as forklift certification or pallet jack training, as requiredStrong teamwork and communication skillsDemonstrated attention to detail, deadline-driven, continuous improvement behaviorsAble to lift 50 poundsSafe and Efficient Facility Team Member
Previous warehouse or material handling experience, preferredDemonstrated attention to detail, and deadline-drivenMust be able to pass a background test and drug screening.
