Youth Homes is actively seeking dedicated Youth Counselors to join our mission of providing the highest quality care to youth in urgent need of a safe, structured place to heal and call home. As a Youth Counselor, you will work closely with staff teams to create and maintain a healthy, home-like environment within our homes, helping youth build a foundation for empowerment, and promoting a sense of positive identity, purpose, and value.

    A responsible adult who can:

  • Advocate on behalf of youth in our program.

  • Serve as a positive role model.

  • Teach essential life skills.

  • Assist youth in accessing appropriate community resources.

  • Work with CPS workers to refer youth to additional services.

  • Initiate, coordinate, and facilitate meetings regarding the youth and document these meetings.

    What You Need to Get the Job Done:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Valid Driver's License

  • Solid moral character

  • Physical, mental, and emotional competency to care for youth
