DEAP Direct Service Professional in LAME DEER, Montana
The employer is hiring for a full-time Direct Support Professional in the Lame Deer area. This position can be either full or part time. Will work one on one with people with varying abilities, supporting them in their home and community. No experience required. The employer will train. Duties: Provide support, and advocate for, the quality of life and personal preferences of adults with intellectual disabilities. Provide them with the tools for self-advocacy and to live independently in the least restrictive setting. Services take place in people's homes, communities and in office type settings designed to assist individuals in acquiring, retaining, and improving self-help, socialization, and daily living skills (cooking, shopping etc.). Will work flexible hours, including evening and weekends, are required. Must be able to pass criminal and protective services background checks as well as be of legal age, and insurable to drive DEAP vehicles. Valid Montana driver's license required.
