CENTURY COMPANIES, INC., A HIGHLY REPUTABLE HEAVY CIVIL, CONCRETE AND ASPHALT PAVING CONTRACTOR BASED IN LEWISTOWN, MONTANA, IS ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITION: * ASPHALT PAVING SUPERINTENDENT Classification: Seasonal Compensation: Wage is negotiable depending on qualifications and experience Work Location: Montana/North Dakota/Wyoming *Position Objective: This position is responsible for all facets of asphalt paving. Essential Functions: **
- Supervise crew of up to 15 people and prioritize work.
- Demonstrate knowledge of asphalt paving, establishing grade, layout, etc.
- Enforce company and/or client policies and procedures as well as state and federal regulations governing the worksite and the environment.
- Accurately read plans and specifications and build project according to them.
- Efficiently operate support equipment.
- Complete project reports as required.
- Regularly conduct safety meetings, practice workplace safety.
- Complete and submit all paperwork in a timely manner.
- Coordinate and track deliveries of equipment, materials, forms, etc.
- Assist in performing the work as necessary.
Competencies:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience preferred.
- Valid Driver's License required, Commercial Driver's License helpful.
- Must be 18 years of age.
