Full time position
HOURS: Afternoon/Evening shift
WAGE: Up to $18/hr DOE
DUTIES:
Schedule and receive food and beverage deliveries
Check quality and quantity of new inventory
Monitor all kitchen staff and report any behavioral issues to the Bar/Restaurant Manager and recommend write ups as needed
Keep all required records up to date and compliant with regulations
Measure performance of kitchen staff and coach and discipline as necessary
Monitor compliance with safety of kitchen
Schedule staff and assign duties within labor budget guidelines
Order supplies and equipment necessary for maintaining flow of the kitchen
Prepare and modify event and daily menus to customer need, making sure pricing is reasonable and accurate
Perform other duties as assigned
Work with Bar/Restaurant Manager to change menu seasonally to keep it fresh and up to date. Remove low selling items accordingly
Stay up to date on Serve Safe Management Certification
QUALIFICATION:
High School Diploma or GED
Previous work experience in a restaurant back of house preferred
