SPORTS, INC. Supplier Account Representative in LEWISTOWN, Montana

Full-time position.

Wage: Depends on experience.

Position Summary: Responsible for supporting day-to-day operational activities of Sports, Inc.?s invoicing and accounts payable. Provides exceptional customer service to build and maintain effective professional supplier relationships. Ensures all transactions are promptly and accurately entered in accordance with supplier programs. Verifies supplier invoices. Responds to supplier inquiries regarding statements and invoices to resolve discrepancies.

Duties:

Develops and maintains strong relationships with suppliers to ensure cooperation and understanding.

Addresses supplier inquiries responding promptly and courteously to supplier needs with a focus on problem resolution and superior customer service.

Prepares source documents for processing including opening in-coming mail, sorting and scanning.

Use of automated system for invoice processing to reduce errors and improve efficiency.

Uses resources to ensure accurate processing of supplier programs.

Coordinates with suppliers on all accounts payable processes, seeking resolution for the supplier where needed to ensure all invoices and credits are correct and submitted.

Reconciles all supplier statements on a monthly basis.

Develops and implements record keeping systems, forms, policies, and procedures related to processing accounts payable activities.

Communicates with internal staff in a timely manner all accounts payable or general business concerns or issues.

Works in and supports a positive team environment with all department staff and other Sports, Inc. staff.

Maintains organized records of supplier contacts.

Electronically files required documents in a timely manner and to the correct location to ensure documents are available for office use.

Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor?s degree or equivalent experience in Accounting or business related field preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

Proficiency with Excel, Word, Gmail, and Google drive.

Strong customer service skills.

Excellent written and verbal professional, communication skills for interacting verbally and electronically with suppliers and internal teams Ability to prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
