ALLIED STEEL Welder/ Fitter in LEWISTOWN, Montana
Allied Steel is a locally owned employer looking for career-oriented employees who want opportunity for personal growth and job advancement. Allied Steel has one immediate opening for a structural steel welder and fitter, Night Shift + Differential. .
HOURS: 40 ? 50 per week (standard 48 hours/week).
STARTING WAGE: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
DUTIES:
- Weld structural steel components using primarily MIG welders
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols
- Set up and operate welding equipment and tools
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
- Other duties as assigned Skills:
- Knowledge of various hand and power tools used in welding processes
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints accurately
- Understanding of codes and standards related to welding practices
- Ability to operate rigging equipment for lifting heavy materials Physical Abilities:
- Lifting: up to 75 lbs, infrequently, 50 lbs frequently
- Standing: Ability to stand greater than 75% of shift in an industrial setting
- PPE: Ability to wear all required personal protective equipment.
