One Health Universal Home Visitor in Livingston, Montana

The Universal Home Visitor will provide information to parents on child development and effective parenting techniques through home visits and other group settings. They will complete developmental assessments on children, partner with local organizations for educational activities and maintain family case files and reporting requirements.

COMPENSATION: $19.34 - $20.33/hr DOE + 2.30 Locality Differential

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-time or Part-Time

HOURS: Monday-Friday

Specialist Duties and Responsibilities  

  1. Maintains functionality of organization and/or department by managing tasks and information to optimize processes.   

  2. Responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the organization and/or department.  

  3. Serves as the first point of contact for patients, vendors, and employees.  

  4. Collaborates and communicates within teams, supports others, and contributes positively to the overall success of the organization.  

    Position Specific Duties and Responsibilities

  5. Work directly with parents providing information on child development and effective parenting techniques both in the family’s home and in group settings.

  6. Market the program and recruit families.

  7. Partners with people and organizations that serve families, e.g. Livingston Hospital.

  8. Attends Park County Early Childhood Coalition meetings .

  9. Complete assessments and periodic developmental and health screenings on children.

  10. Maintain family case files and reporting requirements.

  11. Provide information and referral sources for families.

  12. Participate in required meetings, conference calls, video conferences.

  13. Attend regular state supervision meetings.

  14. Exemplifies a patient-centered care approach to each patient along each stage of the patient journey, while working as a key patient centered team member by communicating individual patient care needs to support the needs of patients served.   

  15. Adheres to all One Health Policies and Procedures.

  16. Participates in performance optimization and risk management activities as required .

  17. Cooperates and abides by all elements of One Health ’s Compliance Program.

  18. Provides exceptional customer service and models the mission of One Health when interacting with internal and external stakeholders promoting a positive image for the health center.

  19. Performs other duties as assigned or required with or without prior notification.

    MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

    Education /Certificates/Licenses :

    Required

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Valid driver ’s license

    P referred

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in related field ( preferably in social work, education or child development)

    Experience:

    Required

  • Competent computer skills, including Microsoft Office

    Preferred

  • Two (2) years of experience supporting families with young children.

  • Healthcare or related experience
