SCL Health Activities Assistant PRN in Miles City, Montana
Job Description:
This is a multipurpose position in which duties range from carrying out basic patient care tasks as directed by a licensed therapist to overseeing a variety of operational activities for the department.ScopeAs an Activities Assistant with us, you will know how to
Work under the direction of RNs
Assist nursing personnel in providing resident activities programs as well as direct resident care within the scope of your certification, training, and meeting regulations
Use proper infection control policies- Accompany patients to activities and functions
Accurately and efficiently document your work- Continually expand your knowledge
Help improve our facility and safety programs- Communicate compassionately and effectively.
Minimum Qualifications
Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Montana or the ability to obtain within six (6) months of hire
Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association or the ability to obtain within three (3) months of hire
Valid Montana Drivers License and proof of insurability
Ability to pass safe driving session conducted by facility maintenance manager
