SCL Health Activities Assistant PRN in Miles City, Montana

Job Description:

This is a multipurpose position in which duties range from carrying out basic patient care tasks as directed by a licensed therapist to overseeing a variety of operational activities for the department.

ScopeAs an Activities Assistant with us, you will know how to

  • Work under the direction of RNs

  • Assist nursing personnel in providing resident activities programs as well as direct resident care within the scope of your certification, training, and meeting regulations

  • Use proper infection control policies- Accompany patients to activities and functions

  • Accurately and efficiently document your work- Continually expand your knowledge

  • Help improve our facility and safety programs- Communicate compassionately and effectively.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Montana or the ability to obtain within six (6) months of hire

  • Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association or the ability to obtain within three (3) months of hire

  • Valid Montana Drivers License and proof of insurability

  • Ability to pass safe driving session conducted by facility maintenance manager

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

$16.24 - $21.92
